GLASGOW, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash near Glasgow that left a 22-year-old woman dead.

Police say the crash occurred about 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Police say a car veered into a grass median for an unknown reason and struck a metal guardrail that penetrated the vehicle. The guardrail struck a passenger in the car, and she was ejected from the rear window.

Police identified the victim as 22-year-old Jazmyn Lewis of Bear, Delaware. The driver was treated for minor injuries after the crash.

Police say charges are expected in the crash and that speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.
