MIAMI (AP) - South Florida clergy are making one last push to get minority voters to the polls early this year.

A group of local religious leaders will lead a “Souls to the Polls March and Rally” Sunday afternoon starting from the African Cultural Center in Miami.

The event is one of half a dozen planned around Florida and part of a national effort in 14 other states. Only about 41 percent of black and Latino citizens ages 18 and older came out to vote in the last midterm elections in 2010.

Organizers say they expect hundreds of people to attend the Miami march.
