ATLANTA (AP) - A 1-year-old boy who was wounded by a stray bullet in the parking lot of a southeast Atlanta apartment complex has been released from the hospital.

Courtney Holt told local media outlets that her son Rodrickus Robinson is still unable to move his fingers and will soon undergo physical therapy. The boy’s grandmother was holding him when he was shot on Oct. 25. Authorities have said the boy was wounded while he and his grandmother were walking home from a birthday party.

Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy in the shooting and have said the gunfire may have been linked to a gang confrontation. Authorities are searching for additional suspects in the shooting.
