SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A 30-year-old man was arrested Sunday in the shooting death of a Salt Lake City convenience store clerk earlier in the day.

Anthony Cline is accused of entering a 7-Eleven at about 1:20 a.m. and shooting 29-year-old Jamie Blalack after an argument over cigarettes.

Police say the suspect was asked to leave the store after the argument and he fired one shot at Blalack while walking away.

Investigators say tips from witnesses and the public led them to a motel in Woods Cross, where Cline was arrested without incident.
