NATCHEZ, Miss. (AP) - The Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation has announced a multi-year initiative to improve the health of Natchez and Adams County residents by 20 percent by 2020.

The announcement was made Wednesday.

Humana and the Clinton Foundation announced the initiative in January.

Humana-Mississippi Market Leader Stacey Carter tells The Natchez Democrat (https://bit.ly/1uW64Kf ) the initiative kicks off Dec. 3 with a community meeting to discuss what are the local health care needs.

Gillian Sealy, national director of the Clinton Health Matters Initiative, says the group will offer national and local health data from which to develop a consensus on steps the community would like to implement over the next several years.

Sealy says the foundation will then put together a plan and then present it to the community to get feedback.
