FRANKFORD, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a man was killed and his wife was injured when the car they were in left the road and hit a rock and a tree.

It happened about 3:20 p.m. Wednesday on Omar Road in Frankford. Troopers say 61-year-old Dale Galusha of Frankford was driving east when his car left the road on a curve.

Police say the car drove into a field, hitting a large rock and a tree before spinning to a stop.

Galusha was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers say his wife, 62-year-old female Shirley Galusha, was in serious condition at a local hospital.

The crash is under investigation.
