BARNEGAT, N.J. (AP) - Two youngsters who ran away from their homes in southern New Jersey have been found unharmed.

Authorities say 12-year-old Caroline Hartman left her Barnegat home Wednesday between 10:30 p.m. and midnight. She was with her boyfriend, 13-year-old Anthony Martinez.

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office says the youths were located around 9:45 a.m. Thursday on a dirt path off Bilge Road in the town.

Officials were concerned the children could be at risk because of the cold weather.
