CHEHALIS, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say five girls were hospitalized after taking prescription drugs at a Lewis County high School.

Chief Deputy Stacy Brown of the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday a 16-year-old brought the medication to Onalaska high school and shared it with four other girls. They were taken to a hospital for observation shortly after noon.

Investigators are looking into the possibility of filing charges for delivery of a controlled substance.
