UW collecting Toys for Tots Saturday

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Fans attending Wyoming athletic events in Laramie can help brighten a child’s holiday.

The University of Wyoming Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Laramie Detachment of the Marine Corps League will collect Toys For Tots at the Cowboys basketball game and UW football game on Saturday.

New, unwrapped toys, checks or cash may be donated at each event.

Toys For Tots is a program that has been coordinated for years by the United States Marine Corps Reserve. All toys donated at this week’s games will remain in Albany County. Monetary donations will be used to purchase additional toys and wrap those toys for children in Albany County.
