Crews had been searching for Sprinkle since his truck was found wrecked, abandoned and partially submerged in the frigid water Nov. 15 along U.S. Highway 276.

The 31-year-old Alpharetta, Georgia, resident had been staying at his family’s second home in Connestee Falls.

A passerby noticed the wreckage and called 911.
