CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Elijah Wilson and Warren Gillis had 12 points each to lead Coastal Carolina to a 76-33 win over Piedmont International on Saturday.

Josh Cameron chipped in 11 points and Badou Diagne grabbed nine rebounds for Coastal Carolina (3-1). The Chanticleers won the rebound battle 53-22.

Malik Milton finished with 10 points and Carl Tyson chipped in nine for Piedmont.

After an early layup by Kaylin Byrd brought Piedmont within two, Coastal Carolina responded, capping a 21-3 run with a flurry of free throws to take a 33-15 halftime lead.

Coastal Carolina pulled in the second half, scoring 33 of 45 during a stretch midway through the final period.

The Chanticleers shot 8 for 16 from behind the arc (50 percent), compared with Piedmont’s 14.8 percent.
