WASHINGTON (AP) - Authorities in the District of Columbia are asking for the public’s help after an armed carjacking in the southeast part of the city.

The Metropolitan Police Department says the carjacking happened Friday night around 8 p.m. in the 1800 block of Alabama Avenue SE.

Police say two suspects armed with handguns stole a blue, 2011 Chrysler 300 with the license plate EN7682. Police are still looking for the car and are asking for the public’s help.

Police say the suspects are two black men in their early 20s who are described as wearing black ski masks.
