GAUTIER, Miss. (AP) - The Gautier City Council has approved one-time longevity pay bonuses to 108 municipal employees.

The Mississippi Press reports (https://bit.ly/1xZk0Ef ) all employees, including fire and police departments, will receive an award of $10 per month for each year of service, with a service minimum of one year ($120) and a cap of 10 years for employees ($1,200) and 20 years for directors ($2,400).

City leaders hope to pay the bonuses by Dec. 10.
