PIERRE, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota Department of Health will hold a public hearing Monday in Pierre to consider rules to provide more help to assisted living centers.

The new guidelines would allow the centers to admit residents who need dining assistance up to needing complete assistance.

Public input may be taken into consideration in the drafting of the final rules. The comments can be presented in person or mailed to the state Department of Health.
