CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - A hearing has been postponed on a reckless driving charge for the man accused in the disappearance of a University of Virginia student.

Media outlets report the hearing for Jesse Leroy Matthew Jr. in Albemarle County has been rescheduled for March 23.

The remains of Hannah Graham were found Oct. 18 near Charlottesville. Graham was last seen with Matthew, who is charged with abduction with intent to defile her. He’s scheduled to appear Dec. 4 in a Charlottesville courtroom on the abduction charge.

Matthew was charged with reckless driving a week after Graham’s disappearance after he showed up at police headquarters, asked for a lawyer, then sped away.

He also faces trial March 9 in Fairfax County on attempted capital murder and other counts stemming from a 2005 sexual assault.
