LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) - Police have arrested a 40-year-old Longmont woman alleging she had been running a prostitution operation out of her home where six minor children were living at the time.
Police charged the woman with prostitution, six counts of child abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Longmont Times-Call reports (https://tinyurl.com/qdzgajw) Longmont police were called to the home to investigate reports of children possibly having access to drugs and other items.
Longmont Police Cmdr. Jeff Satur says police served a search warrant at the residence Thursday and arrested the woman. The woman’s minor children ages 5 through 16 were turned over to the Colorado Department of Human Services.
