UNCASVILLE, Conn. (AP) - Scott Eatherton scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds as Northeastern sank Navy 68-44 in the first game of the Hall of Fame Tip-Off Classic at the Mohegan Sun Arena Saturday night.

Navy (0-4) got a 3-pointer from Bryce Dulin with 1:33 left in the first half to cut the Northeastern lead to 30-23, but the Huskies opened the second half with a 7-0 run and never looked back.

T.J. Williams scored 11 points for the Huskies. Northeastern (3-0) was 22 of 48 from the field (45.8 percent) and were 16 of 19 from the free throw line.

Brandon Venturini led the Midshipmen with nine points, connecting on 19 of 42 (45.2 percent) but managed just 2 of 8 from the free throw line.
