SIERRA VISTA, Ariz. (AP) - A jury has found a man guilty of premeditated murder in the stabbing death of his lover’s husband in Tombstone.

The Sierra Vista Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1xDcoYd) that it took jurors two hours Friday to return their verdict in the trial of Antonio Molina.

The jury also found that the July 1, 2013 stabbing of Jonathan Gibson six times with a large kitchen knife was especially cruel and depraved and that Molina had been lying in wait.

Molina will be sentenced Dec. 29.

Gibson’s estranged wife, Melissa Moser, was convicted of first-degree murder as an accomplice to Molina in the crime. She will be sentenced Dec. 8.

Prosecutors say Molina was having an affair with Moser while spending time with Gibson. The two men would drink and go shooting together.
