CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - The U.S. secretary of veterans affairs is delivering a speech at Harvard Law School on the challenges the country faces in providing care for disabled veterans.

Secretary Robert McDonald is also expected to address his vision for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in remarks at the law school Monday morning.

He will be joined by U.S. Sen. Jack Reed of Rhode Island, a graduate of West Point and a senior Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

McDonald is also a West Point graduate and the former chairman, president and CEO of Procter & Gamble.

Harvard Law School Dean Helen Chu will preside over the event, which is part of the inaugural Disabled American Veterans Distinguished Speaker Series.
