LOGAN, Utah (AP) - Quarterback Kent Myers ran for three touchdowns and passed for another as Utah State blew by San Jose State 41-7 on Friday night.

JoJo Natson ran for a career-high 124 yards and a touchdown for the Aggies (9-3, 6-1 Mountain West). Utah State totaled a season-high 313 yards rushing to 191 for the Spartans (3-8, 2-5).

San Jose State’s starting quarterback Blake Zurich was injured when Zach Vigil sacked him for a 10-yard loss on the first play of the game. He never returned.

Myers’ 60-yard touchdown run in the second quarter was the second-longest run of the season for the Aggies.

Natson’s second-half touchdown run of 56 yards, on the first play of the half, was his seventh score of the season.

The Aggies are in a three-way tie for first place in the conference with Boise State and Colorado State. Utah State plays at Boise State next Saturday.
