GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) - The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says a woman who was reported kidnapped has been found safe.

The sheriff’s office said in a tweet that 26-year-old Megan Vandellen was found close to the area where 28-year-old David Sikora was arrested on Saturday after the woman was reported missing.

Authorities say the suspect chased after Vandellen in a white cargo van and rammed the back of her car early Saturday.

A passenger in the victim’s car told authorities he got scared and ran. He told authorities that when he came back the victim and the white van were gone.

The sheriff’s office says the incident was reported as a case of domestic violence.
