CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - JT Yoho scored 25 points, Joe Thomasson added 16 with nine rebounds and five assists, and Wright State defeated Charleston Southern 86-79 on Saturday night.

The Raiders shot 57.7 percent from the field and hit 10 3-pointers. Chrishawn Hopkins scored 14 points, Reggie Arceneaux had 11 and Steven Davis chipped in 10.

Wright State (3-1) pushed out to a 13-point lead in the first half with a 15-4 run sparked by two jumpers and a 3-pointer by Thomasson.

Charleston Southern (2-1) climbed back within three at the midway mark in the second half, but Yoho answered with a three-point play and two layups to put the Raiders up 75-68 with 3:30 left. Wright State sank 11 free throws in the final 2 ½ minutes to seal it.

Arlon Harper led the Buccaneers with 24 points while Saah Nimley and Will Saunders each chipped in 15.
