MARION, N.C. (AP) - Two young men who escaped from a North Carolina prison are back in custody after nearly a week on the loose.

Multiple media outlets report that 22-year-old Frankie Noles was taken into custody Saturday afternoon near Marion, about 24 hours after 20-year-old Jacob Pilkington was captured by authorities.

North Carolina corrections officials say the two broke out of a minimum security state prison in Richmond County by climbing out of a window and over a fence.

Prison officials said both men entered prison in September and were serving short sentences for probation violations that had them scheduled for release next year.

The two men now face felony escape charges. Corrections authorities said they will be held under greater security.
