Comedian Bill Maher lamented Friday night that the numerous rape allegations surrounding Bill Cosby have made him “re-evaluate” everything he thought he knew about America’s dad.

The “Real Time” host began with a segue from the topic of Republican leaders battling President Obama on immigration. “[John Boehner] said [Mr. Obama] is an emperor who forced amnesty down our throats. At least Bill Cosby used to give you a roofie first!” Mr. Maher said during his monologue, Gossip Cop reported.

“It was kind of a bad week for Bill Cosby. On the plus side, he has lots of pills lying around that can make him forget the whole thing,” he continued. “Sorry, but this guy is such a creep. I’ve had to re-evaluate everything I ever thought about him.”

“I’m always on the side of innocent until proven guilty,” Mr. Maher said. “I get it, celebrities are targets, but 16 women? All with the same story? Even for a guy who did a sitcom in the 1980s, that’s a lot of wacky misunderstandings.”

“I think it is ironic justice that a nation of black teenagers now gets to say to Bill Cosby, ‘Pull up your pants!’” he concluded.

“Saturday Night Live” used a similar joke over the weekend. Michael Che said during a Weekend Update skit: “Hey Bill Cosby, pull your damn pants up.”

The joke refers to Mr. Cosby’s frequent lecturing of black men on their responsibilities as husbands and fathers.
