LAS VEGAS (AP) - Human remains found at Lake Mead National Recreation Area have been identified as those of a 41-year-old woman.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office has ruled Julia Lopez-Maravilla was strangled.

Her remains were found in the desert Nov. 15 by searchers looking for a missing woman, 46-year-old Susana Villalvazo. She has not yet been found.
