LAS VEGAS (AP) - President Barack Obama has left Las Vegas after touting his executive order on immigration and playing golf with retired New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter and Tiger Woods’ former instructor, Butch Harmon.

Air Force One departed from McCarran International Airport at 10:52 a.m. Sunday to return to Washington, D.C.

The president used a speech Friday at Del Sol High School in Las Vegas to mount an offensive behind his directives to protect millions of immigrants who are illegally in the U.S. from deportation.

On Saturday, he played golf at a North Las Vegas course with Jeter, campaign supporter Stephen Cloobeck and the owner of the Las Vegas Sun newspaper, Brian Greenspun.

Obama also played some holes Sunday at Reflection Bay Golf Club on Lake Las Vegas with Harmon and others.
