DECATUR, Ill. (AP) - A central Illinois woman is accused of hitting a woman on the head with a nail-bearing board during a dispute.

The Decatur Herald & Review (https://bit.ly/1xnIIKB) reports 36-year-old Mary Kilcrease of Decatur in Macon County was arrested before dawn Thursday on a charge of aggravated battery.

The newspaper says Kilcrease is serving two years of probation after pleading guilty in August to an aggravated battery count related to an incident last December in which she stabbed the same woman in the face.

Kilcrease has 14 criminal convictions in Macon County since 2002 and has served four terms in prison.

Kilcrease does not have a listed home telephone number and could not be reached for comment Sunday.

Her next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 23.
