ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - The state Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is offering a one-day online-only deal on three-year park passes.

The special price will be available on Dec. 1. That’s so-called Cyber Monday, a marketing term for the Monday after Thanksgiving.

The three-year Empire Passport will be discounted to $130 that day, a $35 savings off the usual price of $165.

An Empire Passport gives unlimited vehicle access to all state parks, nature centers, recreation areas, boat launches, arboretums and preserves, plus 55 forest preserve sites operated by the state Department of Environmental Conservation.

The special offer is available for online purchases at www.nysparks.com .
