WEST FARGO, N.D. (AP) - West Fargo police have arrested a man who they say assaulted his wife and bit off a portion of a taxi driver’s nose.

WDAY-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1tdNXv5 ) the 22-year-old man was arrested Sunday after the cab driver called 911. Police say the suspect began assaulting his 21-year-old wife during a cab ride from Fargo to West Fargo. They say he assaulted the 32-year-old taxi driver and bit off a portion of his nose after the driver called police.

Police say both victims were taken by ambulance to a Fargo hospital for injuries that weren’t life-threatening.

The man is being held without bond at the Cass County jail. He faces charges of aggravated domestic assault, aggravated assault, preventing arrest and interfering with a 911 call.
