FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Police have arrested two men on a charge of first-degree murder after human remains were discovered in the northern Colorado town of Livermore.

The Larimer County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested 45-year-old Michael Louis Bensen and 51-year-old Patrick Austin Hannon on Wednesday in the death of 28-year-old Andrea Bartmess.

Authorities were called Nov. 21 to the area of Red Feather Lakes Road to investigate reports of a body, which was identified as Bartmess’.

Bartmess was from the Denver area but was living near Fort Collins. Authorities did not say how long her remains had been at the location or how she was killed.

Benson and Hannon, both of Fort Collins, also face charges of second-degree kidnapping and conspiracy to commit murder.
