Dana Loesch canceled a book signing at Texas Christian University, arguing that the school’s “no guns” policy puts herself and her fans in danger.

“I was really looking forward to this but unfortunately am uncomfortable gambling with my own, my family’s, or readers/listeners’s security,” the syndicated talk radio host wrote in a blog post Sunday. “We just found out this afternoon that TCU is unable to provide security and because it is a gun-free zone, I am prohibited from lawful carry in place of that security.”

The “Hands Off My Gun” author said she is “regularly” threatened by gun-control activists, and is “just not cool with being a sitting duck somewhere or asking any of you to be also.”

Ms. Loesch promised readers she will reschedule the Sunday event “as soon as humanly possible.”
