WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - The Wilmington Fire Marshal’s Office says a man who died in a house fire in June set the blaze after a domestic dispute.

The office says 48-year-old Lamotte V. Scales spread an accelerant in the two-story home on Bird Street on June 16. Wilmington fire department officials say Scales stayed inside the building as it burned and collapsed.

The blaze injured two women and a firefighter. One of the women remains hospitalized, firefighters say.
