FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (AP) - Police continue to investigate the weekend death of a pedestrian in Fairhaven.

Authorities say 53-year-old David McManus was struck at about 10 p.m. Saturday on Sconticut Neck Road. He was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s Hospital.

The driver of the vehicle that struck McManus contacted police.

A spokesman for the district attorney’s office says the investigation is ongoing and the driver has not been charge. That person’s name has not been released. There is no reason to believe the driver was drunk.
