LOS ANGELES (AP) - A private jet has made a safe return landing at Van Nuys Airport after the pilot reported gear trouble.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor says the Learjet’s pilot said a gear indicator lit up shortly after takeoff Monday morning.
The plane circled the San Fernando Valley airport and then landed without incident shortly before 8 a.m.
A crew from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded after the airport reported a possible emergency landing.
Online records indicate the plane is owned by Glenbrook Capital Logistics of Wilmington, Delaware.
