HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (AP) - A year after a woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Hilton Head Island the case is still unsolved.

The Island Packet of Hilton Head reports (https://bit.ly/1twlXoW ) that about 50 people, including friends and family gathered for a memorial service Monday for Jenny Elizabeth Mercer. The 34-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle on the island early in the morning of Nov. 3, 2013.

No arrests have been made.

A local auto dealer is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

But a spokeswoman for the South Carolina Highway Patrol says the agency has not received any tips in the case.
