MANKATO, Minn. (AP) - Mankato police have arrested two men dressed as Beetlejuice and a hunter who they say punched a man and woman on Halloween night.

The Free Press of Mankato reports (https://bit.ly/1wtpB59 ) police said Monday they identified the men by their costumes and teary eyes after security guards pepper sprayed them following the alleged attack at an apartment complex. Police say the 21-year-old men from Winsted ran into a random apartment and tried to hide among partygoers after being sprayed.

The tenants told police the men weren’t invited and let officers in the apartment to take them into custody.

They were booked into jail on misdemeanor charges including fifth-degree assault and posted bond.
