FEDERAL WAY, Wash. (AP) - A man found dead by a cleaning contractor in a Federal Way home had died about three months ago.
The King County medical examiner’s office says 60-year-old Gary Sayles died of a heart condition. A restaurant receipt found in the home indicated the last time he was alive was in August.
Neighbors told KIRO (https://bit.ly/1GkBKxD ) Sayles always kept to himself. They didn’t know the house had gone into foreclosure.
The bank sent the cleaning contractor who found the body last week. He called 911 and said the body was unrecognizable and mummified.
