VAN BUREN, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say two people were killed in separate auto crashes in Arkansas.

Troopers say 45-year-old Steven Pollard of Natural Dam died Tuesday when the car he was driving on Highway 59 in Crawford County struck a bridge guardrail and spun off the bridge, crashing into a river bed below the bridge.

Troopers say 40-year-old Katricia Dawn Taylor of Hamburg also died Tuesday after the vehicle she was driving on Highway 133 in Ashley County crossed the center line and collided with a loaded log truck. The driver of the truck was not injured.
