ATLANTA (AP) - Democrat Robert Trammell has won the open seat for State House 132, representing portions of Coweta, Meriwether and Troup counties.

The Associated Press initially called the race for Republican Gene King based on vote totals it received showing him as the winner late Tuesday night.

However, vote totals for one county were reported incorrectly earlier in the night to the AP. They were later corrected, which changed the overall total and showed Trammell as the winner.

AP reversed the call on Wednesday in favor of Trammell, who has an unofficial vote count of 5,999 compared to King’s 5,292, a difference of 707 votes.
