ATLANTA (AP) - Irish poet Peter Fallon is set to give a free public reading at Emory University.

Fallon was born in Germany in 1951 and grew up on his uncle’s farm in Ireland. He founded The Gallery Press, which published more than 400 books of poems and plays by many of Ireland’s greatest writers, including Seamus Heaney, Paul Muldoon, Brian Friel, Derek Mahon and Medbh McGuckian.

The university says Fallon’s reading on Nov. 20 will mark the end of the exhibition, “Seamus Heaney: The Music of What Happens,” which ends its run Nov. 30.

Emory’s Manuscript, Archives, and Rare Book Library has the papers and records of Fallon and The Gallery Press.
