GAFFNEY, S.C. (AP) - A Gaffney man has been sentenced to 23 years in prison for shooting a man to death during an argument at a gas station.

Solicitor Barry Barnette said in a news release that 29-year-old Brian McGill was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter.

Barnette says McGill shot 29-year-old John Rawlison in April 2013 in the parking lot of a Cherokee County convenience store. Rawlison died four days later.
