CLAYMONT, Del. (AP) - New Castle County Police have charged a homeless man with two burglaries in Claymont.

Officers say on Oct. 17, a resident reported a break-in at a home in Ashbourne Hills. Police say there was damage to a rear door and jewelry and checkbooks were missing. Authorities say there was another burglary reported nearby.

Investigators developed information linking a man to the crimes.

On Monday, police arrested 56-year-old Gregory Davis. He is charged with burglary, theft and other offenses.
