WINDHAM, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Department of Transportation is opening Interstate 93 to three lanes southbound between Exit 3 in Windham and the state line in Salem.

The first full day for three lanes southbound is scheduled to be Wednesday.

It’s part of the $41 million I-93 widening and reconstruction project in the vicinity of Exit 2.

The general contractor is George R. Cairns & Sons, Inc. of Windham.
