NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The International Black Film Festival of Nashville is hosting a town hall meeting that will air on Black Entertainment Television.

The event will be taped at 4 p.m. on Wednesday at Fisk University’s Jubilee Hall. The discussion will be on “The Importance of Black Love Stories.”

The meeting will feature actor Nate Parker, who is starring in the upcoming movie “Beyond the Lights.” Parker is also known for his roles in The Great Debaters (2007) and Red Tails (2012).

At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, there will be an advanced screening of “Beyond the Lights” at Regal Cinema Hollywood, followed by a Q&A; session. Both events are first-come, first-served.

An air date of the 30-minute BET special has not been announced.
