The College Board approved the naming last month.

Previous gifts include $1 million to found the Ole Miss freshman seminar program and $1.4 million to athletic programs.

Crymes Pittman, a former alumni association president and foundation board member, co-chaired the campaign to raise money for the Robert C. Khayat Law Center. The 1999 law alumnus of the year, he endowed a scholarship in his firm’s name at the law school.
