NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - University of Oklahoma point guard Jordan Woodard has been named to the watch list for the 2015 Bob Cousy Award.

Woodard is one of 36 college players nationwide named to the list for the award given to the top point guard in men’s college basketball. The award is named for NBA Hall of Famer and former Boston Celtic Bob Cousy.

Woodard is a sophomore who averaged 10.3 points and 4.6 assists per game last season.

OU has exhibition games scheduled for Friday against Washburn and next Tuesday against Southwestern Oklahoma State. The Sooners open the regular season Nov. 16 with a home game against Southeastern Louisiana.
