DENVER (AP) - Authorities say credit card skimmers have been found on ticket vending machines at three RTD light rail stations in metro Denver.

RTD spokesman Scott Reed says no one’s credit card information was compromised because the card skimmers were discovered and seized before they could be retrieved.

Card skimmers can surreptitiously read debit and credit card data placed on top of legitimate card machines.

According to KMGH-TV (https://tinyurl.com/q7v4sqw), law enforcement agencies have collected the skimmers and copies of security video from all three light rail stations.
