HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - A runoff will be held Nov. 25 to decide a special election for constable in Forrest County.

Complete but official results from Tuesday’s election show Sheriff’s Deputy Mike Harris and Sheriff’s Capt. Chris Bolton ran first and second. Bail bondsman Rodney Bourne ran third.

The winner of the runoff will finish out the remaining year of Wayne Taylor’s four-year term, which ends in January 2016. Taylor died in June during his third term as constable. The position has been filled by his wife, Kay Taylor, in the interim.
