DALLAS (AP) - Six students in Dallas have been slightly hurt after their bus was rear-ended by another vehicle while transporting children to classes.

Dallas Independent School District spokesman Andre Riley says Thursday morning’s accident involved students who attend L.G. Pinkston High School.

Riley says the students suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening. He says all of the youths were transported to a hospital to be checked out, as a precaution. They were later released.

Dallas police referred questions to Dallas County Schools.
