CLARKSVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says two people have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a body in a burned car at Cabin Creek Park.

The office said in a news release Wednesday that a man wanted in the case was arrested in Morrilton following a traffic stop and that a woman who was with the man was also taken into custody.

The arrests come after a badly burned body was found early Saturday in the trunk of a BMW near the pavilion of the park in Knoxville. The body was sent to the state crime lab in Little Rock for identification and to determine the cause of death.
